Marketing Collateral

Depending on the brand and it’s requirements, will determine what Marketing collateral needs creating. From a promotional offer postcard, to a brand piece to attract awareness, I have worked alongside PR and Marketing teams to deliver on brand printed collateral that can all be converted to digital output too.

I was delighted to be approached by Jennifer De Gray Birch who was opening a new boutique in Ingatestone, Essex called Edit by Jen selling unique pieces by brands such as Donna Ida, Patrizia Pepe and Sundry. She asked me to not only brand her business, but also work on all her marketing collateral. So as a package, I have worked on the logo design, slim and square hang tags, stickers, wallpaper for the fitting rooms, door vinyls and outside signage for the shop. I have also worked on her paper bag, and promotional flyer to hand out in the local area to showcase her new boutique and also her selected edit of designer pieces.

Overall as an entire branding piece, I think the monochrome palette with small flamingo repeat pattern is striking and eye catching. Key print production aspects such as the 400gsm hang tags laminated, with grosgrain ribbon and matching paper bag with rope handles add to the luxury feel of the brand and were important elements we wanted to get on point, so we worked on these with the fabulous team at RNG Creative Impressions. The remainder of the collateral was produced by a mix of CCLR and Westdale Press.

Trilogy approached me this season to work on two types of promotional card. The first being a teaser with the new Season, showcasing some of the key items from the collection, and hinting what was in store with the new style guide. They sent this first mail out card to all their loyal customers, and mailing list to entice people in store and online.

Then due to the success of this mail out card format, and wanting to drive more purchases and brand awareness through the new and current Denim Wardrobe concessions, we decided to repeat the mail out card style, but have it as a pick up on the tables within John Lewis promoting Trilogy’s denim expertise and offering. This matched all the in store POS we created, so the areas are really starting to feel like destinations, with brand and marketing collateral helping to create shop-in-shops.

I did a small job for a new online subscription based box business for new Mums. They wanted a small fold out flyer that they could include in with their boxes, that explained what each product was and how to share the contents socially to get more exposure and promotion for the new business.

I met Rowena from Visual Sense in a cafe in Hoxton after we found a mutual love of VM and Windows after chatting on social media, think it was Twitter and Instagram. Anyway, she was looking to re-brand her business, with her 5 year Anniversary coming up. So she asked if I would help, with a new logo, VM collateral that they could hand out to their clients and teams they were training, and produce an invite for a party they were going to host in Dublin.

So I created a new logo, stationery to go with it (business cards, letterheads, email signatures) and then re-worked her website with the expertise of The Evergreen Agency. We created a portfolio based website, that shouted about their work, and new skills/offerings, as well as incorporating a blog and clear contact details, so retail teams and clients could easily get in contact. I was pretty pleased with the outcome, and having provided the team with all the assets they also created some create “It Makes Visual Sense” collateral for the party they had, as you can see from the photos!

New client Nichola Ruby came to me wanting help with her new Bespoke Couture Headpieces business. She was starting from the beginning, so needed a logo, branding, website and marketing collateral. So working together we created her a logo, packaging, and promotional material to launch her brand, and that she showcased at The National Wedding Show this September. More pics of her stand can be seen on my blog. Below showcases her logo in gold foil stamped onto her packaging, and printed using Letterpress onto her Colourplan White Frost 350gsm business cards, which are super luxury and work well with her incredible headpieces! I work on a monthly basis with Fluorescent PR, who require graphic design assistance to create Press releases and Marketing collateral for their clients. These range from Fashion to Beauty brands such as Hope Fashion, Balmi and Boucleme. I have created several design-led and emailable press releases, as well as invites and posters, and a template for their own Beauty News emailer that they like to send out monthly.
