Wow, so it’s November and I’ve not been posting on the blog very much have I? That’s terrible. So what have I been up to? Well things have been very busy at HRHC this season, and a great start to running my own agency. Can you believe HRH Creative will be 1 in January!
Anyway, I thought I’d do a round-up of some of the fantastic work I’ve had the pleasure of working on these last few months. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some fantastic brands this season, both in the UK and Internationally. I’ve still been consulting on projects for Phase Eight, and am now working with another high street retailer which is super exciting, and unfortunately confidential. Let’s just say it’s keeping my hand in window display which I love!
I’ve worked on Phase Eight’s new trial store POS concepts for their new stores which opened recently in Glasgow and Trafford, plus some decals that featured in individual stores for special events such as Wimbledon, Henley Regatta and all the Race events. Here’s a collection of some of the work. I’ve also just worked on their Top Store and All Store Christmas windows which look fantastic, and you can see these in my Window Display Portfolio section!
Nichola Ruby, a bespoke Couture Headpiece designer got in touch with me at the beginning of the summer, and we’ve been working on her branding so she was ready to launch at the National Wedding show this season. You can see the work I have done for her in both Marketing Collateral and eCommerce, and also my blog post on her stand can be seen here. We also worked with Lost Heritage on her foil colourplan business cards, who did an amazing job!
Trilogy Stores asked me to design their AW16 Style Guide, which showcased some of their fantastic product and brands that are new to the UK from the US. So I worked with their teams to produce a new look style guide, and also Denim Wardrobe guide that will sit alongside their concession in John Lewis. Here is some of the mock ups, and me signing off the printer proofs ready for production!
I’ve also been working with some US clients, on their catalogues and look books which have been used both online and for print. I’ll be sharing this work in the portfolio section once the look books have been printed, and are in circulation. Some logo and brand projects have also come my way which are exciting but yet to go live, so I can only share snippets of the design work, more to follow!
My husband also decided he wanted to re-brand and re-do his website just before the summer, so I have been involved in the new concept design for this along with all the photography, helping with the supporting videos and creative for the website. You can take a look at his successful Digital Marketing Agency site here and we have some exciting plans for 2017!
I’m good friends with the team at Visual Sense, and when I met up with Rowena in a cafe in Hoxton at the beginning of the year, she mentioned wanting a re-brand and I was delighted when she asked if I would work on the re-brand for her. This included a new logo, identity for all her VM communication with clients, as well as a shiny new website. So of course I obliged and we’re super happy with the results. From an exciting and informative website, to a fully functioning blog and brand collateral such as business cards, welcome letters and cohesive email signature the essence of the business can be felt across every touch point. Working in the creative industry, and with us both working in Retail we know how important it is to have the messaging clear and consistent, and we think we’ve done that with this re-brand.
So what am I working on now? Well I’ve got lots of exciting projects on – from SS17 windows, to website mock ups, look books and brochures and also hopefully some new collaborations with designers and brands that will lead to lots of new projects for 2017. I’m super excited about the year ahead, but first I think I’m deserving of a break as I’ve hardly had a day off since Feb – so next week my husband and I shall be sunning ourselves in Dubai!! Then, of course we’ll be back to it the week after! 🙂
